The RNP chose George Bush as their Presidential candidate so why not Palin? What’s the difference between them? They are both a couple of relatively ignorant wannabes willing to be told what to do by their handlers (just as Reagan was by Don Regan & GHW Bush). They pick a character that tests well with a certain demographic & try to sell it like the cynical snake-oil salesmen they are. If it makes you feel any better, were Palin elected, her handlers wouldn’t actually let her run the country.

He prefers a candidate who utterly fails at a friendly interview over one of the greatest orators in presidential history. This is typical of Newt Gingrich and the “power-hungry” Republicans. He’s willing to vote for the McCain ticket, with that “airhead” Sarah Palin, just to stay in power. He admits that she’s not ready for “prime time”, but thinks she IS ready to become President. Totally ridiculous!
